We classify cookies into four categories. The cookie consent banner allows you to accept or reject each category independently, with one exception noted below.
Strictly necessary cookies (always active — cannot be disabled)
These cookies are required for the website to function. They are not used for analytics, marketing, or advertising. Examples:
- Session cookie — maintains your session as you move between pages
- CSRF token cookie — prevents cross-site request forgery attacks on our forms (the consultation request form, insurance verification form, etc.)
- Cookie consent cookie — stores your cookie preferences so we do not display the banner on every visit
Because these cookies are necessary for the site to operate securely, they are exempt from consent requirements under California and federal law.
Functional cookies (opt-in)
These cookies remember choices you make to improve your experience, such as form field values you have already entered. We do not currently use third-party functional cookies.
Analytics cookies (opt-in)
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. If you consent, we use:
- Google Analytics 4 — measures aggregate site traffic, page views, time on page, referral sources, and broad demographic categories. We have configured GA4 to anonymize IP addresses and we do not use Google Signals or remarketing audiences.
Analytics cookies do not collect or store any identifying health information.
Marketing and advertising cookies (opt-in)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on htmsclinic.com. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to re-consent.
